Over 75 Come Out to Show Support at Chesapeake Event

Monday, August 16, 2010 On Friday, August 13th, I attended an event hosted by Sheriff John R. Newhart and Commissioner of Revenue Ray A. Conner in support of my campaign. There were about 75 people in attendance, including many local elected representatives.
I’d like to give a special thank you to all who came out to the event and to everyone who spoke with me directly about their concerns with the challenges we face on our country. It was wonderful for Shirley and me to be able to speak with so many supporters from Chesapeake; I always appreciate hearing your thoughts.
