A New Fourth of July Tradition

Tuesday, July 6, 2010 For the past nine years, Forbes for Congress has participated in several Fourth of July parades throughout the Fourth Congressional District to celebrate the anniversary of our nation's independence. We love being a part of these community traditions. But this year, Forbes for Congress took a new approach to the Fourth of July parades.
We called on supporters across the Fourth District to join us in celebrating our nation's independence by taking a stand for small, more efficient government. As we remembered the sacrifices of our Founding Fathers, we were reminded of the need for lasting solutions to put America back on the right track.
I was excited to see so many supporters join us at these parades in support of small, efficient government and in support of Forbes for Congress. Thank you to all who were there – we appreciate your support.
