Smithfield Olden Days

Tuesday, June 29, 2010 On Saturday, June 26, Forbes for Congress had a tent at the annual Smithfield Olden Days street festival. Annually, this family event draws several hundred people from the Smithfield and Isle of Wight communities for a fun day enjoying arts, crafts, food and music. All throughout the day, those in attendance stopped by the campaign tent to cold bottled water and take campaign materials that my staff handed out.
The support for my campaign was strong as many in attendance stopped to say positive things about it and proudly wore Forbes for Congress stickers.
Thank you to the volunteers, parade and event organizers, and residents of the Smithfield Community for making Smithfield Olden days successful.
