Chesapeake, VA, June 22, 2010 - Forbes for Congress announced today that field coordinator positions are now available in the Suffolk, Powhatan, and Chesterfield areas of Virginia's Fourth Congressional District. These unpaid staff positions are designed to give individuals interested in politics and government an inside view of how a campaign operates on a day-to-day basis while allowing them the flexibility to continue their current full or part-time employment.
Field coordinator duties include managing campaign participation in local community events, recruiting volunteers, attending meetings on behalf of the campaign, and coordinating precinct walks and other grassroots events. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to conservative principles, strong organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask.
