Forbes for Congress Announces Internship Program
Chesapeake, VA, April 3, 2010 - Forbes for Congress announced today that political internships will be available to qualified college students or recent college graduates at its Chesapeake Campaign Headquarters. These unpaid internships are designed to give students interested in politics and government an inside view of how a campaign operates on a day-to-day basis.
Internships are available on a full and part-time basis and filled in a competitive manner. Intern duties include answering phones, greeting volunteers, assisting with events, and performing research projects. The program is designed to be educational and to give students an introduction to a professional work environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to conservative principles, a pleasant communications style, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask.
Additional internships will be available in the Chesterfield area in the coming months. Students interested in either internship program should send a resume and cover letter to Mr. Jim Bailey at jim@randyforbes.com
