Forbes: A tax tsunami is coming

Congressman Randy Forbes sent the following email to his supporters today:

Friends –
 
I read a bumper sticker last week as I drove home to Chesapeake from working in Washington .  It said: “If 10% is good enough for God, it’s good enough for government.”
 
How true, I thought. 
 
The bumper sticker was yet another reminder of what has been on the forefront of my mind for months: American families and businesses are drowning under the burden of too many taxes.  As I drove, I thought about the life of an average working mom and how her every move was being taxed.
